Tech Gaa Factory is part of the greater Tech Gaa Farmers Co-Operative society located in Fort Ternan in Kericho County, in the Northwestern region of Kenya. This area is characterized by hilly scenery, tea, and livestock farming. They use a fully washed process where cherries are hand-picked and delivered to the factory where they are sorted, weighed, pulped, and fermented for 24 hours. After drying, the coffee is then sorted for a second time. After this process, the coffee is delivered to the Kipkellion Coffee Mill for dry milling, grading, and bagging. This coffee is characterized by high acidity, above average body, and high sweetness. Tasting notes include cranberry, lemongrass, and pear.
